A One-Day Yoga Retreat

with Rebecca Polack, Ph.D.

Join Rebecca on October 15, 2016 for a refreshing and restorative One-Day Yoga Retreat

at the sumptuous GlassHouse Vineyard in Sonoma.

Located just four miles south of the town of Sonoma in Sonoma County, the Glass House is nestled in a secluded vineyard with a glorious vista that stretches from the Mayacamas Mountains on one side to the Sonoma Mountains on the other. It’s a perfect location for a full-day dedicated to deepening your personal yoga practice away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The day will begin with a moderately-paced vinyasa (flow) yoga class that will stretch muscles, strengthen bones, and get the juices flowing. The afternoon session will move into a place of stillness with restorative asana (postures), simple pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, and end with an extended shavasana (relaxation pose) cultivating a felt-sense of nourishment and peace that penetrates deeply into the cells of the body.

Between the two yoga sessions**, enjoy a leisurely and delightful organic lunch created by local San Francisco Chef, Andrew McCormack, and then linger in the garden, stroll the vineyard, share insights with the community, or soak in the pool during a post-lunch interlude.

Schedule:
10-10:30 arrival (tea and coffee available)
10:30-12:30 Morning Flow Yoga Class
12:30-1:30 Organic Lunch
1:30-3:00 Free Time
3:00 Yoga Talk – Q & A
4:00-5:30 Afternoon Restorative Yoga Class
